After our trip to the Galapagos, Michal stayed in Davis for work, and Moran and the kids joined Kagan and his kids for a trip in northern California and southern Oregon

We started in Lassen national park

The kids enjoyed snow fights in the higher hikes

Melted pyrite (fool's gold)

Climbing to a young volcano

Between trips, Lotem put makeup on the little girls

Sometimes they put on the makeup by themselves

We jumped in the waterfalls

We climbed to a mountain made of Obsidian - a volcanic rock

We then continued to Lava Tubes national park

Notice the pointed cave-roof

We visited Crater Lake

The water was clear and amazing

There were amazing sunsets due to the smoke from a large forest fire
